Cross wave structure pattern according to the use
Structure pattern
Installing CROSS-WAVE as a storage facility (retention basin type)
Installing CROSS-WAVE as an osmosis facility (penetrating retention basin type)
Installing CROSS-WAVE as a storage facility (rainwater utilization type)
Basic structure
Basic structure
- 1) Install inflow/discharge combination-type sand basin, which makes less rainwater come into the storage.
- * In case of light rain, water flows out directly from an orifice. Therefore, rainwater won't get inside of the storage.
* If inflow gets greater than discharge from an orifice under heavy rain, rainwater begins to be stored inside of the storage. - 2) When the basin can't combine the inflow and discharge functions:
- connect the inflow and discharge basins by installing U shape gutter at the bottom of storage.
* In case of light rain, water goes through the U shape gutter and gets discharged from discharging basin.
* Under heavy rain, water level rises above the U shape gutter within the storage. - 3) Install U shape gutter at the bottom of storage.
- When rainwater flows inside of the storage, it should flow into the U shape gutter first, then its level rises upward within the storage.
* When water is discharged from the storage, it all goes through U shape gutter to flow out; therefore, all deposits remain inside of the U shape gutter.
Maintenance
- 1) Inside of the storage is cleaned by using high pressure vacuum.
- 2) If necessary U shape gutter is also vacuumed.
Inspection hole
- 1) It is possible to check the condition of the inside of storage if some inspection windows are provided in the sand basins.
- 2) When the size of the construction gets large, several inspection holes should be installed.
